OUR PEOPLE
Our team are passionate about serving our community and establishing this new organisation. Until we secure funding we are all working voluntarily, using all our gifts, strengths and experience wherever they are needed. Every one of us has a story to share of overcoming hardship, finding healing and the faith that carried us through.

Leading the team: Len & Pris Moodley
Whakamana Ora is being spearheaded by Len and Pris Moodley. Len and Pris are both experienced leaders, trainers, and mentors who use their gifts to empower and equip others.
After moving to New Zealand from South Africa in 2017, Len and Pris facilitated the Family Restoration Programme for Te Whakaora Tangata in South Auckland. Pris also developed and led the Community Leadership Programme.
Len has over 22 years of experience in managerial and leadership roles in the non-profit, Government, and corporate sectors, with a strong background in risk management, community development, and service delivery.
Pris served in the public sector in South Africa for 26 years and was twice awarded “Policewoman of the Year” for working to bridge the gap between police and the community, addressing social factors that contributed to criminal activity, including substance abuse and dysfunctional families.
Len and Pris also have a wealth of experience delivering workshops, training seminars, and team coaching for organisations, non-profits, and churches both in New Zealand and overseas.
